Kids are grubby, sticky balls of Goo

Just some new photos. Lennox loves eating cake mix at the moment. Rosalie is keeping her head up pretty well and fighting with me non-stop. She is a bit bossy and stubborn. Don't know where she gets it from!

Other Milestone Thingy

Lennox turned two on Easter Monday. He got lots of cool presents that Michael will play with more than he will, like a race track thingy and a train set. Plus a bike and helmet. He screams and runs away from the helmet every time he sees it. Good buy!! Kids are soooo weird. They never react the way you think they will. We also bought him a stand-up blackboard and chalk. The first thing he did was eat a piece of chalk and then break the remaining pieces in half and grind them into the floor. I should stop buying presents that say "3 years and above" on them.

Milestone Thingys

Michael and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary at the end of March. So much has happened since then. We have installed a new wardrobe, got a goat, bought a new car. Oh yeah and had TWO CHILDREN. I would never have thought that would happen. The pregnancies should have been a clue, I know. This photo was taken in the car on the dashboard after having a very rushed dinner at The Stirling Hotel, after going into town, not getting in anywhere coz it was the fringe and then having a big fight coz I didn't feel like eating pretty much everything Michael suggested. This is what averaging 4 hours sleep a night for a month will do to you. It turns you into crazy people! Anyway we ended up having a good night in the end, hence the smiles.

Comparison: What Do Ya Reckon?

Lennox is on the left. Rosalie is on the right. Another child that doesn't look a thing like me! Oh well. They look pretty similar though, don't they?

Rosalie Jeanne Taylor Born 23rd Febuary 2007

After a labour lasting 4 days! Rosalie finally arrived at 5:47pm on Friday (2 weeks early). She weighed in at 7 pounds 8 ounces, or 3.4kg which is about 500gms less than Lennox. We have just come home from hospital and are trying to settle into some kind of routine. Lennox has been great and Rosalie is doing the typical thing of sleeping all day and staying awake all night, yay! We are really happy to have visitors if you want, as long as you hold Rosalie while we run around madly trying to do things while we have our hands free!

Lauren At 37 Weeks

This will be the last blog before baby.

There is not much to say at this point except that I am totally over it. I want this baby out. My obstetrician said that I probably won't last out the week. So here's hoping! Also, thankfully this baby is smaller than Lennox was. Stay tuned for an announcement. We will text everyone when we know something.

Updating Our Lives

Just thought I should do a quick update. Not quite as exciting as getting a job in Manhattan or travelling around Europe but exciting for us. Michael was offered a new job by the competition to Simsmetal, Smorgon Steel. It was a management position, pay increase and supposedly less hours. So he took it and it has been a much happier perhaps slightly grubbier Michael coming home from work everyday. Apart from the last two weeks! Michael has been working 6am-6pm everyday including weekends. He gets up at 4:30am and gets home after 7pm, sees Lennox for about 20mins, eats dinner and goes to bed. It has been stressful for all of us. It should return to normal after the new year. So don't be upset if we don't see anyone before christmas we are probably just asleep standing up in the kitchen and can't hear the phone, or more likely don't even know where the phone is.

Also, I think everyone in Adelaide knows, but for those of you overseas. Michael and I are having a girl. She is due 8 March but the doctor said I am at risk of going into labour early. Since I already had a scare at 27 weeks, I think I might too. If you have any good girls names let me know coz we are struggling.

Little Bits of News:
- My parents are selling their house at Belair
- The beach house is half way built
- I am going back to uni next year
- Lennox call cats 'dude', dogs 'puppy' and stella 'dong'
- We are buying a new car
- We bought Ironbank officially

I think that's it for now.
